Racine Apostolic Church
Leadership
Established in 1954 as the church it is today, the Racine Apostolic Church has been blessed with a foundation of truth. Started under the late Elder Jim Triplett, the chuch has since been under the leadership of Elder Roger Emerson for a season and is now blessed with Elder Steve Epley as the pastor since 2010.
Doctrine
Identified as an independent Apostolic church, the basis of preaching doctrine is taught from the teachings of Jesus and the Apostles. Taking Acts 2:38 as a building block in the foundation for salvation, it is held that repentance, baptism in the name of Jesus, and being filled with the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance are essential. Preaching holiness within and without are also essential as Hebrews 12:14 states.
The scripture is taken at His Word when it states that there is only one God and it is firmly believed at Racine Apostolic. We believe that Jesus was God robed in flesh and came to earth in order to provide Himself as the perfect sacrifice to cover the sins of all men.
